UNEXPECTED CHANGE TO NEXT PUBLICATION DATE

Firstly, can we thank you for your continued support with Railway Herald. We are only a small independent team, with no major publisher behind us, and many hours work each week goes into producing the title. As you will be aware the magazine has been on its Summer Editorial Break, with Issue 872 due to be published tomorrow, 7th August.

Unfortunately, as a result of an unexpected medical episode, your Editor was taken to hospital by paramedics on Sunday. Although Richard is recovering well and now back home, the incident has resulted in follow up hospital appointments over the coming few days. While work on the next edition is well underway, as a result of the situation, we regret to advise that we have no option but to postpone the release of Issue 872, and this will now be published next week on 14th August.
We accept that this will be a disappointment to many readers who constantly tell us that they enjoy and look forward to the edition each week, but is only the second time in nearly 20 years of publishing that ill-health will have prevented the on time release of the magazine. We hope readers will understand the unexpected situation that the magazine finds itself in.
We thank you, in advance, for your patience and understanding at this time, and pending further results later this week, we hope to be back to our normal weekly publication from 14th August. Should there be a need for any further changes, we will keep readers updated.

    With regards,
    RH Editorial Team
