I don't know about the others, but the "Bradford" Ibis is very close to Shipley station,

Travelodge in Keighley is about a 5 minute drive away from the KWVR station. It's probably about a 15 minute walk.

We have now confirmed 4936 Kinlet Hall as attending the Gala.

This, along with the anticipated return on 34092 Wells will headline out Gala.

We will have 3 different coaching sets in use. 1 x Mk.1 Maroon set. 1 x suburban set (the only Railway that can run a full set of these). Also out Pullmans will be in use, coupled to our Jubilee Bar, Restaurant Car and the Bulleid and chatham coaches from the VCT collection - very much showing off what our Railway can do.

    Turntable demonstrations will take place.

We hope to announce evening photo charter and morning charter details soon.

Sadly. Taff Vale 85 will not be ready to haul train - hopefully in steam in Haworth yard.

This timetable must have been written by a diesel enthusiast. It just says that there are kettles on all the trains!:p

You'll have to wait for some official news but I think that they are weathering the WD and renumbering as 90711 (I think) and there was also talk of a photo op with the Hall on one of the evening shifts.

I am in the Worth Valley area Thursday and Friday of next week, so it would be rude to leave my weathering kit at home! I'm sure I said never again for such a big engine after doing it last time! Though having done 2 9Fs since that has to have gone out the window.

Assume this means that Wells wont' be to Keighley for gala weekend with it running up to and including 8th October.

    NYMR Facebook page:
    • Couldn't make the Autumn Steam Gala? Had a pressing prior engagement? Well, fear not, as the two visiting locomotives 31806 and 34092 'Wells', which headlined the gala, are still at the NYMR and they are scheduled to be hauling services for a few more days before they leave!

34092 'Wells' will run between the 4th & 8th of October inclusive, with 31806 starting a day earlier; running 3rd to 8th October inclusive.
