Safely arrived in Carlilse, 31 cars at scout green, 46115 held some in reserve and accelerated just short of the summit.. Great guns.

So no we are in the spoons, 4 beers arranged dark to light (by odd coincidence they see to be north to south)...

Question is who is who's beer ?
    Can you guess

    1. Who is who.. Sheff,adb968008 , Ralph's and belle1
    2. Arrange the body to the beer..
    3. Which beer is which the choices are: old empire, old brewery, sneklifter and scarfell blonde

I shall be reporting you all to a mod for asking the wrong question and for showing an inappropriate photograph.

    The correct question was:-

    "Who served our bier"

And the photo should of course have been of the four BSWs working the bar, anyone of which could have been the one who served you.:)

BSW in this case being of course, Borough of carlisle Serving Wench.

    ;)

A very short video of SG this morning passing Tebay (doing 61mph if you can believe those drinkers on board - probably got their thingy upside down and it's really 19mph)

46115 made heavy weather of the climb to ais gill, down to 19mph at one point.
Lost around 12 mins at one point.
There is a suggestion of a fire bar issue (and a metal plate being added at Carlilse, ) here's a close up at Carlisle of the slide bars before we left as well with a bit of an oil leak.

Although we had 20 mins st Appleby we were not allowed to detrain.

Also of note is the new water crane at hellifield, we departed 5 early.

There is a freight behind us from castle cement.

    Beartown verdict :
    Ralph's says it has molassses
Sheff says liquorice with a hint of domestos, not toilet duck.
Belle1: golden syrup wi a birra treacle.
Me: ain't to bad for a dark one

I didn't know it was dark.....................

As long as it tasted good, that's all that matters! :)

Quite surprising the different descriptions of the same beer, though I question Sheff's verdict............................. Domestos?.............................

And if you lads don't know, we beat the Paddy's at HQ, but only just! :) - one hell of a game, last five minutes seemed to last an hour!
