    There was a 37 on the back assisting and it also pushed up from Poole. I spoke to Pete at Eastleigh and we discussed our last trains home from Waterloo East. He said no problem and he would get to Waterloo without any more help from the DL. We were a mere 5 late into Waterloo max 78 mph at Hook. And that from nearly an hour late from Weymouth. We walked over to East and caught our respective trains home. Pete knows all about Bulleids in original condition. He ought to as he was an NE fireman in the days if steam. He is still around.

    Last I heard from him he was waiting for work from WCR so I think still going though well over! 70 now
