Most likely a question for West Somerset Wizard but thought I'd ask it in the open here in case the answer's handy for anyone else this week or ever - if my workload allows, I'm hoping to visit the WSR on my day off on Thursday and I noticed on the brilliant unofficial site that the S160's out on a driver experience duty from Minehead that day. Would anyone be able to share how that slots into the timetable? I'll be keen to get some pictures of it as well as enjoying 7F and Manor haulage. Thanks in advance for any help.

Most of Yorkshire person's posts also serve no demonstratively useful purpose. Especially when readers recall some of his past stir up postings which were often based on his claimed insider / grapevine sources.

It now appears that he has taken up the Moderator's task and is telling people what they can and cannot post on National Preservation's WSR thread.

Perhaps the Moderators might consider aiming the phrase "Please Desist-----Thanks" in his direction too?

    Jamie.

  3. @OldSchoolTrains - you will know WSR staff are quite rightly instructed not to make public details of internal docs inc the WTT ;) But if I was going out on Thursday, I'd be on the southern half on the line from noon onwards until early eve. The times of public services are fairly regular on that day so tis easy to work out the spare paths. Mind, I'd keep an eye on progress with the refit of the air pump to 6046 just in case plans are changed...

Thinking as a possible future patient, should I be concerned?

My Chemistry teacher did insist on calling it a disability... I haven't done enough yet to find out whether using a clinic set up for a right-handed person is alright or if I'll need to be awkward. I do sign-write everything right to left to stop smudging if that helps? :)

No one should wear gloves whilst painting.

I don't because they annoy me, but out of interest, why?

If you are wearing gloves you do not notice any paint that gets on your gloves and, before long, it gets where it shouldn't be. You may say that it shouldn't get on your gloves but I've yet to see anyone painting without that happening. If you get even the slightest amount of paint on your hand, you notice immediately.

This bus was in service with Crosville Motor Services, based in Chester and covering Wirral, and North Wales until May 1953. Crosville livery was normally green, or sometimes with a cream stripe. I have no idea when it became red, but the FM number plate is a telltale sign.

I wrote a scene for this .... trip wire triggers purple dye and smartwater. Floodlights come on... cameras take photos... and a punt gun lets loose....the miscreants appear on the front page of the local paper.... and Old Bill lets them off with a caution.... Aargh!!!!

As a left handed person, and recognising my tendency to smudge that which I have written, the Arabic script has much to offer; Should I be short of things to do and seeking to learn a language other than Arabic there are many possible opportunities : e.g. Persian, Kurdish, Azerbaijani, Pashtun, Mandrinka, Urdu, etc. Really relevant stuff :)

As for sign writing, let alone painting, whereby no paint ends up on me, that seems in the same category as a wish whereby a pile of metal metamorphoses into a second Duke of Gloucester, albeit carrying a Merchant Navy boiler, within Minehead loco depot.

I think Hebrew is written right to left as well.

Left handed people are always being discriminated against in this right handed world. As I recall, left handlers have a shorter life expectancy no doubt early death caused by right handed knives and scissors. (That said I am mixed up, I write left handed, kick left footed, throw right handed, serve right handed play any other shots left handed, bat in cricket right handed and rounders and baseball left handed. Painting a wall right handed, detail left handed)

Should you go into a Baker's Shop and see a whole tray of Cornish Pasties on display, just as a matter of interest, look out for the Right-handed Pasties and for the Left-hand ones! There is a difference

That's easy to solve, buy all right hand ones if your left handed turn them upside down, simples.
