These would have to run with locos going to the triangle to turn. It's not impossible, but takes more planning with regard to platforming at BL, and the time taken to swap locos at NF.

Can't really see the point of more runs to Norton. I hardly ever go down there as I don't think it's particularly interesting. Unlike the rest of the line there are no significant gradients, the scenery isn't exactly stunning (unless you like looking at the back end of an army camp) and there's nothing to do when you get there. Better to just use it for turning locos in my view.

All true, but still it's nice to have that chance, and the locos are going there anyway. A run or two in the morning/evening wouldn't go amiss.

Don't forget as well those travelling with Short People. Oldest is no longer short but getting my 9 year old home at a sensible time is still important.

Given that many stations had something on during the day, the number of 'non stoppers' seemed a little strange as it meant that there were some two hour gaps between trains at some stations eg Washford and Watchet.

Just looking at the station webcams. It all looks a bit forlorn now the crowds have gone.

My footage of the Gala filmed during the weekend with Saturday having mixed weather and Sunday having really nice sunshine. Enjoy.

So after a week and a half of not having a computer, I'm finally able to share my handy work from the gala last week!
