Mid Hants Railway Spring Steam Gala 2015 Ropley - West Country Class 34007 WadebridgeDo you love heritage railways and do you want them to last for future generations to enjoy? If so, please take a short moment to vote for the Watercress Line and their Mind the Gap project! The project provides a fantastic apprenticeship scheme for 14 young people to learn the skills and knowledge required to maintain steam engines and carriages, skills that may otherwise be lost in time. As a result of this scheme the railway are the only preserved line to become a finalist in the Best Heritage Project category of the National Lottery Awards. It is so important that we send a message to funders that such schemes are highly valued, so that more good work can continue at this and any other heritage line. To make your voice heard, all you need do is click on the link below and follow the simple instructions to vote, or call 0844 836 9673. Please note that voting closes on 29 July 2015.

Voting done - best of luck.

This was won by the Isle of Wight Steam Railway in 2010 thanks to the support of many members of other heritage railways. I hope you get the support that you deserve.
