Planning on visiting the West Somerset Railway tomorrow. After many years, FGW have a week day service that gets into Taunton early enough to make catching the train there feasible (but strangely enough, not at weekends).

This necessitates the use of a bus (argh!) to get from Taunton to Bishops Lydeard. The number 28 seems to be the service needed - but where the devil do you catch it! The station map and the WSR guide suggests the stop is Northside next to Platform2. However, the bus timetable suggests Southside.

    Which is it?

I presume that Southside if for heading towards Minehead, and Northside is drop of on return.

There's a Minehead Bus link shelter on Platform 2 at Taunton, go through this and the 28 picks up from here to go to BL.
