unlike last year with no chilterns north of Banbury , paths are a little more at a premium and so easier to go to Whitlocks End . What is noticeable so far is workings are running behind services trains so I'm not expected the energetic running enjoyed last year . Also forget Shirley as the workings coincide with a stratford stopper

Caught the first two runs of yesterday from Dorridge in the sunshine, first at Tyseley and then later on approaching Widney Manor at Solihull Meadow.

Staying in Birmingham with work tonight, is there anywhere I can find the timings for the Polar Express trains?

Close on the heels of 12.08 Stratford to Worcester, the first Polar Express of the day approaches Tyseley with 7029 in charge.

Much better weather than I've had all day. Fog, fog and more fog. Should have headed to the Midlands it seems.

It looks as though Vintage is providing its passengers with a proper steam experience. That's good to see.
