    I think in this case the NRM is correct in having a sectioned locomotive and, given the number of MNs that there are in existence, this is the best use for it. Pause for onslaught!

    At the time, it was not expected that any more MN would be saved and the rebuilt MN was with the exception of 71000 the most modern pacific type available, so whilst I don't agree with 35029 being sectioned, at the time, it was either as a static exhibit, or be cut up.

    It's not been forgotten. It is under overhaul! It's just that those involved all have commitments elsewhere, including these annoying things called jobs!
