    Does anybody know what the visiting engines are at this years Tyseley Autumn open day's on 27th Oct?

    Can anyone confirm whether 4965 and 5043 have worked Tyseley open day shuttles in the past,please or whether 4965 did so when it visited Barrow Hill?

    The last time I went the engines kept changing over on the shuttles. Usually there is a Pannier on 1 end and even 6201 has been on the other end before.

    I know Furness Railway no. 20 is 1 of the guest but they usually have a few. It says on the website that there is guest loco's as well as the latter?

    Funny that - we haven't ever had 5043 on the shuttles. Nothing sinister - we just never got around to it!

    5043 will be on static display on 27th October, so no joy this time around.

    I am sure FR #20 will be on the shuttles with a Pannier at the other end.

    Will will have FR #20 in steam. We hope D1015 will be "dieseling" around.....

    Thanks so that's two preserved locos that since 1973 have operated passenger trains on the mainline and not on a preserved railway/centre etc.......

    5043 hauled a passenger train (The Whistling Ghost) over 3 miles of the WSR from Norton Fitzwarren to Bishops Lydeard and back (ie 6 miles in all) on Sat 25 May 2013.
