Definitely worth a 'day out' to sample them when they enter service :)

"also there's clearly a great view out of the window". Not for everyone with the seating layout shown in the video.

Agreed - in some cases you got a great view of a buttress in a Mk. 4...

Is it now allowed to have passengers in the front vehicle running at 125 mph?

They remind of the railjet trains in Austria which are very nice, although normally whenever anything crosses the channel they tend to become a lot worse. (Less space and interiors done as cheaply as possible to cram as many people in to as few coaches as possible).

Sorry, didn’t realise you’d been appointed ‘positivity policeman’. Sorry didn’t realise that we had to be all happy clappy. So very sorry my experience of UK travel vs European travel has been worse. I’ll try to remember to be more positive next time I’m stuck between a two manspreaders on a rush hour 450. I’ll remember to check with you to make sure I’m suitably positive next time.

And as you clearly didn’t read what I said, if they are as good as the railjets then they will be very good, if they cut corners as is often the case they will be less so. Positivity, with a dose of realism.

Perhaps, but it doesn't have to be so.
