Tornado

With a mainline steam ban in place, I decided to make a montage of 60163 Tornado climbing Filton Bank in Bristol from different angles from 2017 to 2021. I hope you enjoy it.

Going up there 1st weekend in August for a nosey, remind me what awkward questions i need to be asking ?

 

Is Tornado still going to NYMR given the current fire risk? I assume if it still goes it'll have to be dragged with the rods off to get to NYMR.

 

There's a path for it to move tomorrow, but no sign of a diesel travelling to/from the start and end points:

Just been confirmed on Fb it has a diesel pilot

 

This is presumably part of the diesel move but no idea how it gets to Tees N.Y.

Could be something based at Tees Yard, or is inbound from another job.

 

It's showing as Vintage Trains being the TOC. Whatever it is, it heads back to Tyne Yard afterwards.

Haven't spotted anything from Tyseley to Tyne Yard today or yesterday or a subsequent path back to Tyseley.
