    I am sure the upper piece of loco cab is from NELPG J27, which was refurbished in the works a while ago.

    Both. RS were based in Newcastle but moved to Darlington in 1902. They took over Hawthorn Leslie based in Newcastle in 1937 to become RSH. Mainline locos were built in Darlington, industrials in Newcastle.
