Just so. Let's hope that this sorry business has allowed for a 'reset' at the A1ST on all things that have caused concern and 2019 will be a trouble free year for Tornado and its team.

Rule 1: Never take to work a mug you want to keep.
Rule 2: If you do take it in keep it in a locked draw when not in use.

I mean, I can buy another but the one that was pinched was bought on the day of the run, along with a badge and a pen. Sadly I left it in the communal break room at the end of the day, having washed it up; normally it'd be in a locked workshop.

Some wag at work stuck a bit of gaffer tape over the '9' whilst I was out of the workshop when I first brought it into work...

The '90' also reflects the speed at which I head for the kettle upon arrival at work :D

Not unknown. The Avro Arrow was pretty much killed by the politicians whilst the usaf were trying to buy them, because they wanted to sell the Canadian government obsolete missiles. Crazy.

Would be funny if it wasn’t actually yours, and we’re about to get another “some b*gg*r has nicked my mug” post on Things that wind me up ... ;)

Not necessarily. As an honorary “Cobra” I had a 92 Sqd aircrew mug complete with my “call sign” emblazoned upon it. The other half broke it. :(
