Clan Line's Twitter Feed has a post confirming the engine has passed its FTR for tomorrow.

This the only one I can recall(in 2013) when 35028 failed an FTR. Of course I had to be booked on it and "enjoyed" a full day of Class 67 haulage

    London Waterloo-Exeter [dbs]
    35028 Diesel: Waterloo-Salisbury-Exeter-Castle Cary-Westbury, Yeovil Jn Laverstock Jn-Waterloo
[Return now via Westbury vice Yeovil Jn due to gauging issues]
[35028 unavailable (FTR), train now diesel hauled throughout]

The normal routine is for the engine to run light from Kingswear to Churston for turning and then to Paignton for servicing. Then light engine again to Kingswear to pick up the train for its scheduled departure.
