Only thing that comes to mind is the occasional Pathfinder steam working, customers (rightly) voting with their feet.

Both Pathfinder and UK Railtours are DBS customers for occasional steam tours.

Yes well done to the Torbay Team who stuck to their guns and insisted the train was held at Trowbridge until the booked departure time. Big discussions on the platform but TEx had been told the running times by NR who (apparently) later changed the times despite the fact tickets and times had been sent out. Why all the chaos? who knows because there was nothing behind us. Good run Westbury to Taunton, just missing even-time.

34046 ran well enough all day and got the job done. Whiteball challenge speed was 54 mph.

    Thanks to all.
