    Had a bit of a look around at BlFf with ng and mainline in together - the FfRly were in *a bit* late, arriving a few minutes after the tour - I gather the 8F had a cracker of a run up to Bleanau.

    Lyd did a parallel departure with us but I did not have my video camera with me. Had a run down to Tan-y-Bwlch and back to pass the time.

    Maybe because it, starts local to Carnforth, does not cover a great mileage, being without dining requires minimal catering staff, 2, is therefore cheaper to run.

    Compared to other tours on offer it's actually quite expensive for what mileage you get. £90/adult, you could do one of the S&C railtours for that price.
