    That change in pitch of the hum as they accelerate (listen at 0:59 onwards) always sends a shiver down my spine, and always has done :)

    Mindful of discussion elsewhere, has the time come for a "Rail Blue" - era line? It looks so smart compared to the gaudy liveries of the privatised railways.

    I was going to mention the stock..........very smart. It's really was a well turned out loco. and train, somebody put a lot of effort into it. I now regret not being booked on it. Next time for sure I'll be there.
