whats happening with Nunney Castle now? she was still sat in Hackney yard this afternoon
An interesting day made a bit more interesting! 5029 and 70013 were going superbly until the unfortunate failure. Well done though to all the crews co-operating and still getting us to Cornwall even if we had reduced time.
I helped one of the suppoert crew out by taking him to the Fire Station on sunday evening, to organise some water etc, still there this evening and he mentioned they were possibly going to be there a couple of days though.
There has to be the great possibility that P&DSR wil be yused I would have thought, being the nearest turntable etc.....
Hopefully going out to see tangmere coming through later, then charge everything up for tomorrow!
Its been raining here all day, but the forcast for tomorrow is good though!!
A maroon class 52 Western with 11 very smart maroon coaches .....nice. <BJ>
Looking forward to it tomorrow, still unsure where I am seeing the return..
Just watched Tangmere going down Hackney, passing Nunney in the sidings...
sorry the pic is pants, only had the video camera and took a pic on it when taking the video......

My comments will appear later.Off chasing th Great Britain today.
heard from one of the P&DSR chaps that Nunney is to be lifted at Paignton to assess the damage. It seems a separate problem prevented her being moved to Paignton sooner.
Perhaps we might get some "running in" on P&D service trains after she's mended? She'll need to stay for a few months I think \/ \/
My pictures of the tour are now up,
D1015 + 70013 at Tigley, and Devonport

Thats a really nice rake of Mk 1's and Champion looked good with them despite the historical anomoly.
Shes going there, up to Churston tomorrow I've heard, which is probably right as I am working out of the area!!!
Ive re-loaded my video as I did not render it correctly so should look better now.

Brilliant vid Nick,i will have to get my on train one of D1015 done for you
My photos finally up at:
To put the record right for those who might think I was glad D1015 worked from Newton Abbot after 5029 failed,I would rather have seen 5029 and 70013 on Tigley as I,we, were going to Hemerdon for Champion later.
Thanks once again Mark for your updates.
Just uploaded my video of The Royal Duchy
or for HD use
Going to start on the GB2 now, which may be up tonight.
It's "fmt", i.e. "format", not "mt".
