According to UK Steam that went via the ECML & Spalding outward , the one in 2011 went via the Midland Mainline and Newark.

Not sure this will be such a good spot if it's on the fast line, as RTT suggests. Forecast now suggests a good chance of sun, but there's a lot of vegetation close to the fast line.

Did the Souldrop bridge look like it would re-open scheduled tomorrow?

46115 passed through a damp Rugby earlier about 30 mins ago.

Back Lane Bridge won't be shut will it? Will the crossing be? Hope to get a film from both the bridge and level crossing.

Back lane bridge is open, I was there on thursday. The foot crossing boards on the fast down is in place, but the fast up has been ripped up as the line has just been replaced, the crossing on the slow reversible is in tact. And there is the key, is it on the fast down, or the reversible avoiding line. Anyway, having looked at the view, it will be working hard but the video shot time is too short, its a short distance from the curve to the bridge, I shall be elsewhere.

It is an excellent view, but it will probably be regulator shut off as it down hill and approaching a curve.

Cheers ! I'd rather have a short shot of it working hard, then gambling on another spot, where it could be coasting ! I'm hoping to get another shot at speed through Loughborough, as it will be on the fast through there !
