Nice set of photos, looks like you've caught my Dad and I in one of them. Shot number 11 of 29 of 32670 with the goods train. We're on the far left of the photo walking up the platform with my Dad on the left in the blue shirt and me next to him in the black t-shirt.

    Cheers

It's a shame that these foreign locos can't handle the Southern hills ...

I was on that train, rather odd going backwards and forwards in the station, a lot of people on my coach didn't really know what was going on!

The local locos had problems around there as well. At least one of 32678 or Charwelton was slipping quite badly just the other side of the level crossing on the 1200 from Tenterden to Bodiam on Saturday.

Here's some pictures from Saturday - mostly 33052 and the terriers.

I have an enjoyable day on Monday, it was quiet on the 9.30 departure and that was only a single coach. On the 12.00 departure I was standing in the guards van.
An eventful day - points failure at Rolvenden, and a very small fire on Tenderden bank( spotted by a fellow Photographer who notified some photographers lineside who called for assistance). Loco's were all well turned out. Thanks to all Staff and volunteers. A selection of my photo's can be found at http://paulsimpson.zenfolio.com/p804641382

Ah yes, I have to say I nearly let rip at the bloke with the sunglasses and jeans videoing on the platform edge, just as the Terrier arrives round the corner with the goods he just stands right in between me and the blasted thing! Inconsiderate so and so...

Yes, it was quite disconcerting being in the rear carriage (the Maunsell) as we suddenly, and seemingly at increasing speed, started going the wrong way. Took the two timers by surprise who were sat at the window!
