Archive film, The Dawlish Donkey Rail Tours from 1998, 1999 and 2000

The Dawlish Donkey rail tours ran between Exeter St Davids to Newton Abbot. These clips were taken in the years 1998, 1999 and 2000 and were hauled by GWR 0-4-2T 1450 and BR Standard tanks 2-6-4T 80079 and 80098.

The video quality is not great nor is some of the filming. But it’s a reminder of tank engines working on the main line, a sight we may not see again.
