    Also I would like to confirm that as far as I'm aware Bittern is the first loco to have passed through the new loop at Goodrington and indeed the first train to have done so.

    Sorry very busy week....

    We came down for the Stonehill Bridge (I thought the restriction had gone, did Mr Churchill forget? unlikely!) So we went over the top at a shade over 50 mph and a 'Whiteball Challenge' figure of 53mph.

    We caught a stopper on the approach to Bristol so nothing of note at Flax Bourton. Torre was certainly the highlight.
