A busy day for chasing steam hauled charters in the North West of England on 13th April 2019 with three to photograph, starting with ex-LMS Stanier Black 5 4-6-0 Nos. 44871 and 45407 on The Citadel seen crossing Ribblehead Viaduct.

A couple of hours later, A1SLT 4-6-2 No. 60163 Tornado also passed across Ribblehead on its journey to Carlisle with The Border Raider.

The third charter was The Pennine Blackpool Express, seen near Arkholme on the Little Northwestern route on its return to Preston with Jubilee 4-6-0 No. 45690 Leander in charge.
