Just noticed (with the usual good timing) that on the Saturday Bournemouth to Poole is a bus, so anyone from the London direction can at least get the 50, but on Sunday bus from Southampton Central to Poole.

I meant to say free2grice that the mention of 31806 and 34028 'Eddystone' wasn't mentioned on the website.

But I suppose a Faceache announcement is as official as anything.

I also did speak to them a couple of days ago and they did say that they are just running two passenger sets, no goods.

    Personally I am so glad.
Just a nice, small, neat, tidy weekend with 4 engines, 2 passenger sets and no silly OTT rubbish.

A very good timetable. 15 departures from Swanage each day. <BJ>

Unless a typo, seems strange you can not ride the last train double header and get back to Swanage. Is the last train from Norden really not going to stop at Corfe? Especially on the Saturday and Sunday when it is RRB on the SWR at Wareham.

One could argue that it is perhaps to encourage people to park at Norden, but then that means they can’t get a full round trip with the Victorian double header in the morning. One of those damned if you do, damned if you don’t times perhaps?

It is a tough call as to get the 10:00 if you are not driving you need to get the 07:55 50 from Bournemouth on the Friday. On the weekend even without the RRB issues no bus from Bournemouth arrives before 10:08. Although you get to Swanage on the 40 from Wareham or Poole if you can get there early enough.

Well as of yesterday the T3, U and Bullied all face Corfe. O1 had not (and may still not as I have not been past today) arrived.
