Nothing allocated yet. Only working engine is the T3 ATM.

Been 6 weeks since the last Swanning around Mag was realised... without going down hope all is okay.

TC brake car been moved back to Swanage. Hopefully that is nearing the end

Manston now sports a cleaner look on the "port side" as well.
Seen here as the T3 passes under Northbrook Road Bridge working the 15:20 service.

Although to be fair only 2 days out of date, and as was mentioned in post #10862 the T3 appears to be the only loco available at the moment. So plans may well be "fluid" at the moment.

Its only paint and undercoat at that. Rejoice in seeing a working M7 in the near future

To be fair, the loco is referred to as 30057, but does that necessarily mean that's how it will be finished? Is there enough data there to form that conclusion? With the T3 there in LSWR colours I think they'd be missing a trick if they paint it black.

I tend to think the same, particularly if there's the possibility of a 563/53/499 meet up in the foreseeable future.

Agreed. In the 30 or so years since it was first restored, it has never worn any livery other than black. At least we got a bit of variety once with SR rather than BR black. However a bit of green, either LSWR or SR, would be a breath of fresh air.

The owners can paint it whatever colour they want, it's their loco after all, personally though, I would think after years in black, a change would make sense, With an eye to the future possibilities, I would love to see it turned out as LSWR 53 in the same livery as 563, 120 will be wearing Southern green, and that will fit in beside 563, and 53 time wise, as during the change over from LSWR to Southern, some engines would have kept their old liveries whilst awaiting a call to the paint shop.
