Can I remind anyone who wants to come and look at the A2 whilst it is at Kidderminster. It is in an active yard and therefore persons entering are required to hold a valid PTS for the railway and also seek permission. There is an open pit, tripping hazards and other hazards within the yard.

Agreed. I’ve seen a few pics today cropping up from unauthorised people. Won’t help our case for actually getting the A2 for an event if it’s like this!

Just to point out I do hold a valid PTS.

Kieran. I am aware you have a PTS for the railway. My point being that over the last 36 hours there have been numerous attempts at members of public walking off the end of the platform or across the barrow crossing trying to get a crap shot of the loco without knowing the risks or aware of other movements taking place.

I think the thing with New Builds is that a fully painted/lined cab for example shows visible ‘progress’ to potential supporters who might be persuaded to part with a few quid as they can see something happening. In LSL’s case they don’t need to worry about that.

Looking like Mr H’s private train is there, I’m guessing he’s having first go at getting his red pen out :)

Saw a clip of it leaving on Railcam. Was paired up with LSL's Class 121.

Because it’s boiler insurance certificate has not yet expired and the current fleet have had a few niggling issues. Therefores it’s been revived for a month until its insurance certificate expires to act as spare. There is no planned used of it

    813 looking more complete.

Unfortunately, the tank has begun to leak and the repairs are looking expensive.
