Dropped in to Bridgnorth this morning.

1501, 34027 and 7802 were the yard. Someone has taken the opportunity to get plenty of coal on board each of them B91D92C2-D42E-45D1-BAFB-001DAC0D01D3.jpeg F6E75D0A-3843-4F71-BCEF-5772E5CD96C0.jpeg This smoke box was round the back of the shed. Had a nice visit to the railway yesterday, interesting to see the developments at Bridgnorth. Travelled behind 7714 on 7 mark 1's which was a lively run! SVR website says it is on load 8 today (teaks?) while 1501 and 2857 are on rakes of 7, surely should be the other way round?

Set L is the LMS set, which are a bit smaller and lighter than a Mk1, so 8 is roughly equivalent to 7 Mk1s (I can't remember the exact conversion off the top of my head).

Set N is the teak set - according to the website 7714 will be on a 6-coach teak set Wednesday and Thursday this week.

Be nice to see the two (Maybe even three one day with 75079!) BR (SR) Black Std 4 4-6-0s together at some point. I wonder if it will happen?
I don't think 75078 has never ventured off the KWVR, except to Shipley Triangle for turning during filming of "Yanks"... And that was a rarity in itself, as with USA 5820, neither were Main Line registered!

    Richard.

Can anyone advise please what is now in the Engine House after the shunt?

    I think RH&DR No. 7 is in with 686, 600, 4566, 5764, 48773 and 7819. Which of 45110, 46443, 47383, 7325 and 80079 have joined them, and where are the others now housed?

    TIA

    Patrick

Definitely not 7325 or 45110, they are in the carriage shed at Kidderminster. I believe I saw a photo of 47383 being shunted back into the Engine House earlier today, but that could've been it going out (and sure enough I can't find said photo now...)

    Hope this helps.
