Tickets booked today for a full 3 day bash. Also agree that the absence of 5322 is shame but it will certainly be a fantastic gala.

Yeah - I've booked the Friday off from work, so I will be there all 3 days.

I ordered my ticket and working timetable off the web this morning, how long does it usually take to arrive as before I have always rang up and are the timetables being sent out now or at a later date?

Is there any chance someone from the svr could say which locos will be doing the Friday overnights please? Presumably this would not give away too much info and stop people from buying a wtt? Please don't take this as an "I want all your information for free" request, if you don't want to give the information then please don't, but as they say if you don't ask you don't get, and it might just make the difference between my doing the svr gala or fonmon farewell at the other svr, before Embsay Sunday!

Yeah I agree, but can we have the way each engine will face for the whole event?

To be fair, I could see where people would be coming from if they were to argue that will only benefit photographers, who [carefully avoiding starting up a 'freeloading' argument again] may be seen to contribute nothing. Knowing which locos will work overnight, however, would appeal to those travelling, and I'd imagine there are few lineside photographers in the hours of darkness!

RoD 5322 might make the SVR gala,if Didcot can make a new concrete pad in time to facilitate loading the loco on lowloader transport.

Possibly a silly question, but are working timetables available to purchase before the event?

I'm going on the Saturday, just booked tickets, should be a great event. First time I've visited the line properly, my previous visit was the '07 gala when the event ran only between Kidderminster and Bewdley. Be nice to see three Ivatts together, is this the first time that three different Ivatt classes have appeared together in steam in preservation?
