Will there be single round trip tickets available, or reduced fares, for those that may only be able to attend for a few hours or late arrival on Friday / Saturday nights?

Hornby Model Railways are now advertising to appear both weekends with their roadshow

The Dukedog 9017 or Earl of Berkley as known to some should be be at Llangollen by the end of the week expect pictures to appear

As far as we can make out it is 49 years since a Dukedog ran through the Dee Valley

The repaint into BR Black will commence this weekend ready of nine confirmed photocharters

If anyone wants to go on a photocharter with 9017 and does not move in the usual phtocharter circles please PM me and I will see what I can do

The Oswestry autocoach has gone back to Appleby to have the job it should of had done in the first place, so we are bringing no 228 from the South Devon Railway to run behind 6430 and 5526 so we now have two carmine and Cream Autocoaches.....Nice

I am working on an Itineary for the event so you can be where you need to be on the right day etc

We still have one day to confirm what we are doing watch this space as it might be a reason to pull a sickie

That was mentioned here a couple of days ago and was denied by the SSS2 guys, but their posts have since gone. Maybe RH is misinformed or maybe they are trying to spoil someone else's "exclusive"? The next issue of The Beano's due any day now... (Who would want to edit a monthly print magazine these days?)

    Hi all

Have had it confirmed that a Nat Pres special will be running the first Saturday evening, 1905 off Llan. All members are welcome to join Glyn and myself and hopefully a few other staff on this train. There should be a bar on board so it would be great to have a couple of pints and meet a few more of you, at our first forum social event!

Thanks go to the organisers (especially Jon) for allowing this.

Don't forget Glyna nd myself will be there all week as well

No problems. The Thompson buffet should be part of this train, more than likely as the rear vehicle (Llan end). All subject to the usual availability etc. Just need to decide which engine to put on the front... I can tell you though it wont be any of 9017, 246, 5526 or 6430.

If it's ready in time it could be Desmond. Or 44801.
