Didn't Portbury do a run on a closed section of NR fairly recently?

How about Cadley Hill to Coalville open day in the June 1983. Progress rsh7298. I have photos of it running there, alone (coming out of CH, Gresley, Moira West, and Moira station. An 08 had been despatched from Coalville, but they set off before its arrival. Part way to Coalville, it went into Rawdon, for water. The 08 arrived, but was sent back. Progress then continued alone to Coalville. May be one of the later open days also had this? Swiftsure 2857?

22 years ago this year - December 20th/ 21st 2001 having gained a two day certification to work on NR. The event was the 21st with a practice run taking place on the 20th and was a celebration of the reopening of the Portbury branch.

Possibly got one. In October 1970, Wemyss Private Railway 0-6-0 tank N0. 20 moved from the Railway to the SRPS at Falkirk, under its own steam. It went via Thornton Junction, Dunfirmline and Stirling to Falkirk. When the SRPS shut its base at Falkirk, all the stock was moved by rail to Bo'ness. Can someone confirm the move to Bo'ness?

I remembered that SRPS engines had done this, but not which ones, sadly. I thought they might be the last, but Portbury trumps that by a distance!
