I've only had enough time to check the GWR locos, hopefully I'll check the remainder this evening. Dunno if I'm right, but I have:-
    4979 - Fleetwood and 6634 - Crewe LNWR

Aaron, you need to get in touch with our member Bestieboy aka Steve, who has a good database of locations of - everything. Communication could be of mutual benefit to you both.

As far as the Southern locos go, I think Sidmouth is still at Sellinge as a kit of parts. W24,31806 and poss 34053 should be finished later this year.
30841? The frames of this engine still exist but I believe its technically a scrapper due to frame cracks and boiler donated to 825. You will need a fisheye lens to phot Invicta fully and good luck with 35018!

Interesting- Couldnt find a reference to the move on SLL's site apart from a comment that all SLL work has moved to Herston. I'm sure I read somewhere that there are still 2 Bullieds at Sellinge. Also noted that SLL make no claims to Brocklebank Line which I thought had been transfered to them?

Its in the link I posted, scroll down to '2000-2008 news'
The other MN at Sellinge is 35011 GSN, I don't think that 35025 was transferred to SLL, it was just moved to Sellinge as it had to leave its previous location.

Ok Aaron, I've checked these against my own lists and you have the same locations as I do except I recently moved GWR 9682 to Southall for a light overhaul, returning to Chinnor in Mar/April I think. I then realized you have my lists anyway!
If there are differences it'll be operational loco's that move frequently on hire to other lines. I simply keep these at their main base, with a note, 'op for Hire' unless its a long term hire then I'll move it.

Cheers Steve, for looking. I forgot I had a copy of the stock list.
    Will check that in future.

    Cheers

    Hey Aaron,

'Cogan Hall' is currently located at Cambrian Heritage Railway Llynclys, which is some four miles south of Oswestry. However, as reported in another thread on this forum at http://railways.national-preservation.com/showthread.php/22282-5952-Cogan-Hall/page7 , the loco has been sold to the Llangollen Railway-based 6880 'Betton Grange' group. I understand it is expected to leave Llynclys in the coming weeks. Indeed, it was reported on the aforementioned thread that it is hoped the loco will move to Llangollen in time for the April gala w/e.

    As for 46235:
Following the closure of the Bimingham Museum of Science & Industry & it's re-birth as a new 'trendy museum/technology educational facility' [call it what you will!], 'City of Birmingham ' is now housed at Thinktank, which is located at Millennium Point in the city centre. For further info, visit http://www.thinktank.ac/ .

    Hope this helps,

    Gareth Evans,
Press officer, Cambrian Heritage Railways :)

SLL are not interested in MN's all the stock has been moved to swanage except for a former schools class tender snowplow but i am unsure what the situation is with that, because it has no axle boxes fitted and is currently on blocks

35025 is still owned by the same people who had it at the GCR and as far as i know there has not been any work done since it moved to selinge so i dont know what the future holds for this loco, 35011 is being cosmetically cleaned up by it co owner until he has the funds to start full restoration

The frames of 30841 are near the top of the headshunt at Grosmont MPD, and are visible from the public footpath/shed access road so long as nothing is parked in front of them.

Birmingham City Council announced today that it is cutting 2,000 jobs, including in its museums and libraries; what effect this will have on the future of 'Thinktank' and 46235 is anybody's guess.

If the city council are finding times hard and are considering selling 46235 maybe Mr. Hosking's could step in and add another loco to his growing fleet

In reply to the original post 6235 is currently hidden away in a corner of the 'Think Tank' opposite the old Curzon St. station.
However if what the last couple of posters have said is true.....if I win the lottery tonight a move to Tyseley is imminent.:cheer2:
