    The SNG people have put a lot of hard graft into that loco and this unforeseen setback will be real sickener.

    The hump is within the streamline casing, im sure some pics will be on the SNG website, of the overhaul.

    Once back to Crewe, is is supposed to be very quick, and they hope it does not stop their other December commitments.

    D9000 through Arlesey tonight. Was booked on the fast but kept on the slow to allow a late running Zuma overtake.

    I had hoped to get Sir Nigel southbound hauling the train, but it wasn't to be, and I had to settle for a cameo northbound in the dark at Alnmouth bolted onto my video of Scots Guardsman yesterday.
