No. Hatton Bank starts just after Warwick station through to just North of Hatton North Jn in the Down direction. Continuing in the Down direction you reach Dorridge.

Perhaps, then, part-fill it and avoid the full time spent at Winchfield.

My video from Wednesday. No restraint from 34046 for alleged fire risk leaving Woking, where it took the equivalent of 15 coaches smartly away (no help at all from the 47). It's always easy to blame steam for line-side fires but the NR information appears to indicate it was not the cause and 34046's subsequent efforts certainly tend to support that.

I think the confusion is RTT has steam to Dorridge , Diesel to Hatton West and Steam then back to Oxford . whereas the SD blurb suggests steam to hatton west, diesel to Dorridge and then steam .

Yup, it is. I hoped everyone's stepladders were tall enough to avoid it, apparently not. Whoops. Lovely image in the sunshine.

    My film of yesterday's run:

A hi-vis-attired man sat in his small white van in the car park by the platform with his engine running for at least 20 minutes before leaping out to take a shot. Probably not his fuel so who cares about the pointless pollution and waste...a pet hate of mine!
