    The legal challenge is probably nonsense (as in the case of HMS Plymouth a few years ago) unless the challengers can prove they have enough money to take it on.

    In both cases the considerable patience of port authorities, local authorities, naval authorities and others ultimately ran out after the failure of proposed scheme after scheme after scheme always for the same reason. Not enough money to get started.
    In the meantime both ships deteriorated and left numerous unpaid bills until the scrapper or, in this case, the reefer was the only viable option.
