    According to another forum...re railway modelling, the site might be owned by the same person who owns the old Hotel opposite.

    Looking up Shute Arms Hotel
    Planning...Mr Hammond is the owner of the ex hotel.
    PA was refused in 2007 on hotel.....

    I take it (hope) that planning permission for demolition was refused. Where does he reside? PM if private message is preferred.

    No I do not currently volunteer
    May I put members minds at rest. Plans for the redevelopment of the station have been approved and it will be converted into 2 apartments. The fabric of the building will remain unchanged in appearance from the exterior. Planning request for the demolition of the dairy building have been submitted. The up station canopy now has a preservation order on it and will be restored to its former glory. Alan.
