Could well be a diesel, on the return legs at least, as the FBU have scheduled strikes between 17.00 and 19.00.

Odd no times seem to be around other than the West Coast site.

I thought for a minute that West Coast wasn't being picked up by Realtime Trains, but other trains are there OK.

Wonder if this might escape the Network Rail steam ban. The formal departure from Carnforth is over an hour after the FBU strike ends, but it enters Network Rail metals in the middle of the strike. Does a bit of light manoeuvring in a yard constitute a fire risk?

I certainly believe it will be 45699 and 46115 for the Scarboroughs. Not sure how much main line action we're going to see from the K4 this summer, though.

No word on 46115. I think that if the scot is not ready 48151 may go w/45699. 61994 stays in Carnforth. So is Sherwood Forester coming down for August before returning to Jacobite duties in September? Strange if so.

The Scarborough Spa page of WCRC's web-site pops up a message to the effect that, due to the dry conditions and Fire Brigade strikes, "a diesel engine may run on Tues 15th, Wed 16th and Thu 17th July".

Just been informed by someone who was hoping to have a spin behind 46115 that it is diesel hauled today (15/07)

46115 didn't look to be in steam when I passed NRM on a Up train at about 09:30. Stock was near the Harrogate line junction. No sign of the diesel, but as I crossed the car park, stock was heading into Holgate Sidings via the avoiding line - didn't see what was on the front but no indication it was steam.

A choker is a close-fitting necklace, worn high on the neck. This type of jewellery can consist of one or more bands circling the neck. Chokers can be made of a variety of materials, including velvet, plastic, beads, metal, and leather. They can be adorned in a variety of ways, including with sequins, studs, a pendant, or a cameo.

Historically, it is associated with high fashion, but takes on a different meaning under different circumstances. For example, a plain red ribbon choker has ties to prostitution, while a plain black woven/ribbon can signify secret lesbianism
