Stopped updating on RTT after Horbury Jn, so I'm assuming they took the Hallam Line to Barnsley instead.

Calder Valley closed due to flooding and a tree down. Sent via Huddersfield and Diggle, but a broken rail in Stalybridge tunnel has shut that line too.

About to be put in the loop at Marsden.

Was just searching on Traksy for it. Don’t know the area that well up there, what are the options, wait and see what line opens first? Long day for passengers and crew.

The Saphos has just arrived at Man Vic 128 late, and the organisers have now got to try and get several hundred people home, late on a Saturday night, by bus and taxi. It was a late arrival back in Barrow anyway - anyone want to hazard a guess what time the passengers will arrive back now? That's assuming they even find enough road vehicles to get them there, and if the roads are passable. Northern aren't running any replacement buses.

Was it the right call to run the charter, bearing in mind the forecast and other TOCs were saying do not travel? I'm not sure.

It is now past Eccles so presumably the train will go forward to at least Preston or Lancaster.

I was working 1P87 the other way and passed it in Catherine St tunnel. The brief few seconds that it was, but Mayflower sounded blooming lovely!

If it's reversing at Warrington how does it get from platform 1 onto WCML northbound unless it continues south towards Arpley then cuts across south of the station?

I should imagine it is a reversible line past Dallam to Winwick Jct and cross there. We'll see in a minute.

There were no platforms available with all the cancellations and late running trains. They switched it from P5 to P11 at the very last moment
