    Yep similar confirmation as well. Change of traction decided this afternoon. A2 on the steam legs, 87 on the electric legs.

    Saturday the 16th's Christmas White Rose charters at Peterborough - 60007 on the Saphos Tour, with 44871 on the RTC train. Detailed coverage of the loco changes in the setting of a very busy East Coast main line - much more detail in the video description.

    Does anyone know whether the stop at Moorthorpe in the goods loop is for pathing or water please ?

    Just trying to work out of it may be omitted with it currently 20 late

    Of course it is only 30 mile or so from York, so there is always a risk they may not need it, or the helper on the back may "assist" to save water.
