Timings for The Golden Arrow on 4th March - https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/se...4/0000-2359?stp=WVS&show=all&order=wtt&toc=LS

Another incredibly long day. 0522 from International, arriving back at 2327. I was a hair's breadth away from booking on this, but ultimately decided to go to Didcot instead for the 4 Castles event. I'm glad I did now!

Class 40 D213 reported on facebook as doing Holyhead to Hereford on the outward leg, and Crewe to Holyhead on the return.

Somebody forgot to put a " * " in the activity column in the train bid. Therefore it shows up as an open stop and not for pathway purposes.

    Cheers, Neil

Just received my booking details which states 70000 "Britannia" is the anticipated steam loco for the tour. D213 and 70000 then, should be a great day out.

'Composing an image is very much like making love to a beautiful woman...' For those now confused, it's a 'Fast Show' reference prompted by Swiss Toni's moniker.

Ahh Swiss Toni, my favourite "Fast Show" character played by Charlie Higson.

Train arrived about 10-45 into Hereford. 46100 was stabled in the northside bay platform with support coach.

Only heard a whistle (hooter) as it left south, but I think was pretty much on time.

I wonder where the loco coal came from? Looked quite small but clean, as in "washed".
