Retro Rail Tours ‘Retro Devon Belle’ Saturday 27th May from Huddersfield to Paignton

I went on the Retro Rail Tours ‘Retro Devon Belle’ yesterday Saturday 27th May from Huddersfield to Paignton, in all a nearly 18 hour round trip

Early start from Huddersfield at 05:45, arriving back at Huddersfield at 23:19, giving 4 hours in Paignton with 50008 Thunderer and 67028 providing the tour locos

Unfortunately near Cheltenham we were stopped for 45 minutes due to dragging brakes, finally got moving after I believe the brakes were isolated on the offending coach, but having lost path were eventually arrived nearly an hour later, still 3 hours was enough for round trip on Dartmouth steam Railway and later a paddle in the sea!!!
