I have come across a picture with the legend "Reghin 0-6-0T at Teifi Valley railway". It is undated and I can't find any other reference to it.
Can anyone enlighten me on its whereabouts, identity, owner and origin. Any info appreciated.
I probably should know but this one must have slipped under my radar.

I think that's a mistype of Resita 0-8-0T which was stored at Hellan for a time on behalf of the abortive Ystwyth Valley Railway. Now to be found stored at Llanfair.

Thank you. No wonder I didn't recognise the name. Of course if I had bothered to notice that it wasn't an 0-6-0, I might have staggered to an improved deduction. It's me age you know but I shall plead the headaches! Much obliged, Anthony.

No probs Ian...I was a "member" of Ystwyth Valley once upon a day, though I don't ever remember paying any subs!

You were lucky. The YVR's promoter was locked up for making a fraudulent grant application in connection with the proposal if I remember correctly.

Perhaps he should have "pleaded the headaches" as well!

He did indeed. Mr Drinkwater still resides in West Wales too, but is these days very quiet.

I heard about the misdeeds of Mr D, but what is the status of the Resita stored at Llanfair & who owns it?

    Cheers
