    On 29th Dec. 1981, during the last few days of Deltic operation, 58 year old York driver Harry "Oddsocks" Wilson is in the cab of 55021 for what could have been his last Deltic turn. 81-12-29 13 55021 copy.jpg 81-12-29 15 55021 Harry Wilson copy.jpg

    Now 100 years old Harry Wilson travelled to Scarborough on Saturday 19/8/23 behind 55013 (alias 55009) as a guest of the Deltic Preservation Society and UK Railtours. He is seen here in the cab and alongside the loco, clearly enjoying the limelight.
