OMG Matt - I'm suddenly very worried about (or maybe for) you. Are you sure that you're not Boris' half brother:eek:? If the guy on the right is your dad he sure looks like Boris' dad as well - he's not called Stanley by any chance is he?:(:)

Peter I know you are being flippant but there’s absolutely no chance of me being Boris’s half brother for one my Father bought me and my brother up to know the difference between right and wrong, secondly whilst not a rabid socialist, his politics are very much to the left, even at the age of 70 he takes no crap from management despite flying a desk for most of his work life and I think there’s a few at the SVR who’ll testify and confirm! :):)

55 years ago today, 45025 calls at Preston with the last Manchester bound steam hauled 'Belfast Boat Express' on May 5th 1968.
The lad third from the left on the platform by the tender, the one with the black fur collar on his coat, is my old mate Ian Johnson
who very sadly passed away over 25 years ago, he was only in his late forties and a nicer guy you couldn't wish to meet.

Sometimes makes me wonder what takes the platform staff so long.
It's passengers mate, would be easier without them (LOL!). P1160216.JPG
