Not my own, but shows a friend of mine trying to restart a stalled locomotive on a 1 in 29 gradient on a wet autumn day whilst on sharp reverse curves... (823 on the W&LLR's Golfa Bank).

    Re: Railway Video's on Youtube

Recently I posted a video on YouTube in HD. When viewed in HD the panning is very jerky, but when viewed in SD it's reasonably smooth. The original .mpg file is fine. Has anybody else experienced this phenomenon and is there a known solution?

This isn't a true 'Railway Video's on Youtube' subject but I couldn't see the point of opening up a particular topic on the 'Other Heritage' forum. I have posted a video of Sunday's air display at Old Warden on YouTube. I hope those who enjoy elderly aeroplanes will be pleased with it.

=D> Great Vid. Nick,I never did manage a trip down the Quay line, despite having visited the area in the 1960's,hauled on one occasion by 34076 from Bournemouth, which may be on Mark's photo. archive. The Class 03 shunters were working the Quay then I think.I don't know what we were doing on the weekend that you went on this tour without searching through my video records.Hope to see you around soon, regards to Mrs F.B. chaser.
    Alan.

    Re: Railway Video's on Youtube

Dont think(!!!) I have put a link to my video of the 2 DRS 37s and 40145 when they worked down to the West Country a couple of weeks ago. Here it is.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ch0FrR7Hgts

Still not happy with the quality of the video, although I didnt help things by choosing Westford Crossing as it is mostly in shade then sun at the end!!
Top man BillR helping with that though so hopefully I will get it right oneday!
