No no please stop before it gets silly and people start blaming hitler....

Although, i always thaought that the sloping smokeboxes on the semis were a nice touch and should have been kept and, therefore, passed onto the larger standards

The following information was published in 2008 so things may have moved on...
92134 - none, original tender bought for 71000?
    92203 -BR1G#1510
    92207 -none
    92212 -BR1F#1161
    92214 -BR1G#1519
    92219- none
    92220- BR1G~1527
92240- New build BR1C tank on an original BR1 chassis
    92245- none
So at least two of the above which are under restoration will need new tenders, as will 72010. An opportunity for a bit of bulk buying !
An idea of mine would be to give these locos the BR1A's behind the two mainline Brits on extended loan and Provide the mainliners with new build tenders
be it BR1F (7 Tonne/5625) BR1C ( modified to give more more water capacity) or the proposed BR4 long wheel base 6000gallon tender. Perhaps 73096 might want to get in on the act too
But this is far too sensible and pragmatic to ever happen.

On the same theme 75079 will also require a tender at some point and I'm lead to believe she will receive a high capacity tender.

    And 76077 the forgotten standard.

    Does 73156 need a tender ?

Reading your post I was unaware that there was a difference in tender frames/chassis. Can anyone enlighten me on the difference between frames /chassis.

    Thanks

    75079 was originally paired with a BR1B.

Far as i can tell the chassis/frames are all the same for the BR1's, the Bluebell tender has a newbuild 1C style tank on frames that we'rent neccessarily originally mounted with a 1C tan Far as i know 73096 also has a new tank but this is mounted on a non standard (but probably very similar) LMS chassis. What with 73156 and 75079 all wanting BR1 tenders am i to late to set up a production line...

There are a number of different chassis arrangement drawings for the various BR1 type tenders. What I can say is that the chassis for a BR1F has structural differences, including bearing springs with 18 leaves, the same as fitted to a BR1E. The other BR1 variant tenders have bearing springs with 16 leaves.

Can someone point me towards an online listing of types of tenders used by the Standards, or even better explain the types on here? To the untrained eye, the tenders behing 92212 and 92240 look identical, but apparently they are BR1F and BR1C, whatever those may be.
    Thanks in advance.

The BR1 Tenders breakdown into 3 profiles
the BR 1, 1A,G have an inset coal bunker and look like larger versions of the tenders given to the smaller standards (ie BR2, BR3)
the BR 1F is a flush sided tender that sweeps back at nearly full height (1 small profile step after the bunker like an original Bulleid or Peppercorn Pacific tender
The rest are flush sided with a scalloped rear profile like a Stanier tender, there are various variations of coal bunker versus water capacity
which decrease the curved inset to the point where the BR1E (71000) looks very similar to a BR1F (92212). try

This from memory, im sure Std tank will fill in the gaps

92203 is currently running with the BR1B tender normally found behind 73129, while the '5' is out of traffic. A 9F running with a lined out tender with early emblem certainly makes for an interesting picture.
