There is also thread prefixes, this brings a greater chance of your post being seen. You can choose between three, [Stolen] [Returned] [Found].
It's highly advised to use them otherwise members will not know if the item has been found etc.
It is also advised that you add images if you can of the item that has been stolen. This may help identification of the item if found or offered.

Please also do not use this forum area for chat, it's for reporting items stolen and then informing the public the end result.
