This took place over 3 - 5 November when DMUs took over the railway.

Highlights were a Cravens class 105 running for the first time after a 20 year restoration, and 40106 'recovering' a Calder Valley class 110 DMU.

The Manchester - Bury class 504 EMU was also on display.

There are some lovely photographs there. I wish I'd made it over for the event. I'm a sucker for a bit of a theme, and it looks like the ELR did that one proud. I would give my right arm to see the Class 504 running shuttles (on batteries?) south out of Bury Bolton Street to the Metrolink junction.

    Thanks for posting.

    Crumbs, they are marvellous.

Can the WSR DMU receive the same treatment?
