    Thanks for posting that Johann. It is a fascinating vehicle and I enjoyed my ride in it when it was on the GCR. It was very popular as can be seen!

    Looks like you managed to get a photo of the back of my head on there! Most people didn't realise that it had been swapped for one of the 101's at the Gala which did at least give those waiting at Loughborough on the first run the chance to get a seat, and I managed to get one of the rear seats next to the cab, which of course became the front on the return trip, which enabled shots like this to be taken.....

    No, it's an original NER "autocoach", which never ran with the "autocar" originally. The clerestory autocoaches would have run with BTP tanks (LNER G6).
